The northern territory

Many people probably identify Winter as the best time to visit the red centre, however, we suggest taking a trip in Autumn to beat that high drop in temperature once night falls. Travelling in Autumn brings the best of both worlds, with warm days and cool nights. Home to some amazing national parks, the Northern Territory will not disappoint when it comes to stunning landscapes and nature. Become immersed in the true Aussie outback by camping in national parks, but be sure to do your research beforehand.

The seaside town of Strahan is one of Tassies best-kept secrets. A gorgeous and quaint town to visit, acting as the gateway to the South-West wilderness, Strahan holds a place in many people’s hearts as a favourite place to adventure during the Autumn months. Drive into the beachside caravan parks and hop on a cruise across to Bonnet Island to see penguins frolicking at dusk, or travel up to Hogarth Falls for a bush walk.
