The MDC Explorer FF Limited Edition brings genuine off-road capability into a compact, forward-fold family camper trailer, combining MDC’s proven Explorer platform with a completely refreshed Sandy Taupe exterior. Designed for families who want serious off-road touring without stepping into a full-size caravan, it features a custom king-size bed sleeping up to five, a full annex, X-TRACK independent suspension, 12-inch electric brakes, 100Ah lithium battery power with 200W solar and a slide-out kitchen for real campsite cooking.

Explorer FF (Limited Edition) FEATURES
Inside the Explorer FF Limited Edition, the layout is built around a custom king-size bed (2000mm x 1640mm) and convertible lounge, sleeping up to five in comfort. The MDC integrated trailer tent features reinforced double stitching, gusseted mesh windows for airflow and insect protection, and a removable tropical roof, while the full annex adds an enclosed roof, walls, floor and draft skirt to extend the living space. The Limited Edition refresh brings an updated interior colour palette to the familiar Explorer layout, finished in premium canvas with Khaki walls and a sand roof.

Built for genuine off-road use, the Explorer FF Limited Edition runs X-TRACK independent coil spring suspension with two TOUGH TRAX shock absorbers on each side, 12-inch electric drum brakes, an off-road poly block coupling with MDC-LOK® coupling lock, and 16-inch alloy wheels with 265/75 Goodride mud-terrain tyres plus two spare wheels. It’s built on a 100mm x 50mm Q460 galvanised steel RHS drawbar and a galvanised chassis and frame with zinc-coated body panels and floor, finished in an all-new Sandy Taupe exterior with blacked-out fitments and a new decal package.
Outdoor touring is supported by a slide-out kitchen with Dometic 3-burner cooktop and sink, a fridge slide fitting portable fridges up to 95L, an 80L fresh water tank with 12V electric water pump, a 20L portable toilet and a mesh stone guard with forward-facing mud flap protection. A 120kg-rated removable storage rack, 9kg gas cylinder holder and two 20L jerry can holders add practical exterior storage, while a LiFePRO+® 12V 100Ah lithium battery, 200W portable solar panel, Projecta IC15 15A lithium charger and Projecta BM500-BT Bluetooth monitor provide strong standard off-grid power.
