From the 300 watt solar system on top to the quality black alloy 16” wheels the Forbes 13 ia wrapped in features. In between there is an electric awning complete with annex, the most equipped stainless steel kitchen in this class boasting a pantry drawer with a built in cabinet right beside. Up front is a large fridge slide to accommodate the big dual zone fridges all protected by the triple seal hatch design.
Generous standard inclusions make this one of our most comfortable caravans yet. Outside there is an electric awning with a fully enclosed annex for protection from the elements. The high-quality stainless-steel kitchen has a 4-burner cooktop fit for a chef. Hot and cold water are plumbed to the sink and the dish rack system incorporates a clever wind break making cooking easier.
Beneath the cooktop is a cutlery drawer and beside the kitchen a handy pantry slide for storing your cooking needs. Close by is a built-in recessed pantry that doubles as a table making it easy to prepare and serve food. This combination makes for an efficient and ergonomic kitchen layout you’ll love to use.
Up front there is a large fridge slide that will take the large dual zone fridges popular with travellers and just above, a handy full width storage boot for longer items.
All the external hatches are MDC’s triple seal design. These provide the best possible protection against dust and water we’ve ever seen.
Inside there is a roomy ensuite with toilet and shower to make off grid camping a luxury and give you complete privacy.
The innerspring Queen size bed is a luxurious 200mm thick and has a comfy pillow top for the ultimate night’s sleep. Generous storage ensures all those items you need can be packed away for the journey.
For those winter nights there is a diesel heater as standard. Efficient and cost effective it makes the Forbes 13 a winter home away from home.
For summer you can choose to have an optional Dometic air conditioner fitted to the roof which will keep you cool through the summer months and make your Forbes 13 an all year-round option.
To keep you powered all year round, the Forbes 13 has a 300-watt roof mounted solar power system. Managed by a Projecta IDC-25 DC to DC unit, this is truly off grid ready.
When using mains or generator power, the 7 stage Projecta charger takes great care of the 3 x 100ah AGM batteries.
A 1000watt Projecta inverter supplies 240-volt power for small appliances and caps off an excellent electronics package. This all state of the art and simple to use.
To make off grid camping complete, the Forbes 13 has two large freshwater tanks and a grey water tank that allows you to camp in areas requiring you to be fully self-contained.
