People often ask the best thing to do in Atherton Tablelands, and if you have ever visited the region you will have discovered there is more than one.

There are so many things to see and do at the AthertonTablelands, a real treasure trove of natural wonders. Millaa Millaa Falls is one of the most photographed sites in the entire region where you can jump in and enjoy the cooling waters.

There are still tons of waterfalls to see like Nandroya Falls, Tchupala Falls, Lake Barrine and Lake Eacham are also popular attractions, with the latter perfect for swimming, barbeques and picnics. While Lake Tinaroo is suited for camping, fishing, water-skiing and sailing which takes place all year round.

While at it, you shouldn’t miss out Undara Lava Tubes, the greatest lava tube experience in the world. According to study, they were formed by immense volcanic eruption 190,000 years ago resulting to magnificent tunnels and caves.
