MDC Campers & Caravans, part of the Market Direct Group (MDG), is a proudly Australian, family-owned business built on one simple idea: make caravanning more accessible for everyday Australians. Founded in 2005 by Vaughan Hindley, MDC has grown from a small side business into a national operation with 150+ staff, 8 Showrooms located throughout the country (with more on the way), and 40,000+ campers and caravans delivered across Australia.
Built by people who live the lifestyle
Vaughan isn’t just the founder, he’s a caravanner and four-wheel-driver who still gets out and travels around the country with many other staff members to test products in real conditions. That hands-on approach helps drive the constant improvements the MDG is known for.

Our design and product development is led in Australia, with our long-term manufacturing partner in China, built from the ground up, and thorough testing systems to ensure consistency and durability. Final assembly and certification take place in Australia, backed by strong standards and industry accreditation.
